Resumo: | This research analyzes the thermal behavior and hygrometrical in different areas of the Regional Praia do Canto in Vitória (ES) in both the rainy season and in the dry by mobile transect technique. The analysis confirmed that changes in land cover and land use associated with the characteristics of the relief directly influence the meteorological variables, in this case the temperature and relative humidity. The analysis of average conditions of air temperature of relative humidity allowed us to observe two warm cores, in the north and in the south of the study area. At 3 p.m. both in summer and in winter, the air temperature reached its maximum and the relative humidity rate, its minimum value. In summer and winter, the most heated areas were well defined, corresponding to the warm core area. The major influences of the urban fabric in the meteorological variables were checked under performance of the South Atlantic Subtropical High (SASH). The sea have an important role in urban topoclimatical behavior, especially in the morning and afternoon. In east-central portion of the study, area was observed up to 3ºC minus for the points located on the northern and southern portions at the evening. These points suffer direct influence of the effects of sea and arrangements of buildings that form shading (Urban Canyons), a fact that hinder the formation of core warm during the day on this portion. Were observed in both periods in the rainy season (summer), as well as during the dry season (winter), high thermal gradient. These located where there is heavy flow of vehicles, and the most vertically integrated areas. The intensity of thermal gradient effect is stronger on the role of the South Atlantic Subtropical High (SASH). At 9 a.m. are recorded the highest thermal gradients for the two periods analyzed. The relative humidity remained high during the two experiments. The lower water contents were recorded at points that make up the core warm found in the northern part of the study area. Because of the behavior of the observed variables, Urban Topoclimatical 3 units were identified in the Regional Canto Beach. |
