Resumo: | In our Master's Thesis, we will study , especially , "Meu tio o iauaretê ", from Estas estórias, and also "O espelho”, from Primeiras estórias, by João Guimarães Rosa. These are the general objectives of this work. In relation to the first report (a longer narrative), we have as a specific purpose to perform its analysis by the fantastic genre theory developed by Tzvetan Todorov, which takes into account the weird and wonderful genres. In relation to the second (a far less extensive narrative), our specific intent is its approach from the wonderful genre. We will also use the concepts of analytical psychology of Carl Gustav Jung, in the reading of both texts: notions such as collective unconscious, archetype, anima, animus, the bush soul (for "Meu tio o iauaretê”), self, persona and shadow (for "O espelho"). We do not intend, however, to transform the characters of the two works in clinical cases, but to show how aspects of Jungian theory, such as with Freudian one, serve to illuminate the literary production in general. Two details that function as factors of linking of the two Rosa’s narratives are the presences of picture of jaguar and of the mirror in the pages of both of them. |
