This thesis discusses how networks in education have been thought. The term network is broadly used to describe a certain mode of organization that brings together different instances and devices connected by a public policy. However, the networks that are woven in daily policies also operate by lines of deterritorialization, connecting with other policies and instruments and engendering singular arrangements. The school, central object in education policy, can be thought of as a point in a network defined by the education policy, but can also be thought of as a multiplicity in a network that is always in construction.
