Resumo: | Financial Mathematics is a branch of mathematics that has developed a lot in recent decades due to the increase in population consumption and its contents that are important in promoting citizenship and understanding of the economic and financial world. However, in schools, Financial Mathematics content is often not addressed or only emphasizes ready-made formulas, using non-contextual data that does not attract students and does not provide the basic skills of Financial Education. Thus, this paper aims to propose the use of mathematical modeling in mathematics teaching, aimed at high school students, presenting a proposal of teaching of Financial Mathematics that uses Real Estate Financing. This research is focused on the production of a didactic activity proposal, so we opted for a bibliographic research. It is believed that mathematical modeling combined with funding helped the teaching and learning process, allowing students to work with applications of mathematical content and simultaneously improve research skills, team sense, and contribute to the development of reflection, discussion and criticism |
