Resumo: This project dealt with Social Responsibility at the University, focusing on extension projects as an important tool of the university / community relationship. The objective of this study was to analyze how UFERSA extension projects establish the relationship with the community and the social demands using the three dimensions of social responsibility model proposed by Schwartz and Carroll (2003): economic, ethical and legal. In the model there are also the overlapping of these dimensions that results in seven possibilities: purely economic, purely ethical, purely legal, economic and ethical, economic and legal, ethical and legal and finally an overlap that encompasses the three dimensions. For analysis were defined as specific objectives: outline the profile of extension actions; Identify the motivations for the implementation of these extension actions; Verify what social demands were met through these actions; Describe the perception of the subjects of the actions on social demands. This is a qualitative research, which used field research, with semi-structured interviews, and documents. Twenty-one members of the programs / projects were interviewed, among them: project coordinator, deputy coordinator, technical and scholarship holders. The documentary data were the final reports of the extension actions referring to Public Notice no. 19/2013, fully funded by the university. The analysis of the results was interpretative based on the specific objectives, the interview data and the model proposed by the authors, for the final analysis according to the general objective. The results showed that the actions of the projects covered the areas of education, technology and production, and the environment, and that the main public attended were public school students, elementary and middle school. Also, that most of the actions fit the ethical and legal dimensions (in their passive form), and that despite the limitations of the model it was possible to carry out the analysis
