The present research proposes to analyze the constitutional compatibility of the instrument of videoconferences in the criminal area through the methodological path of bibliographic research such as doctrines, legal journals, articles, using the deductive method to formalize the work, because only in this way is it possible to establish position on the constitutionality or otherwise of telehearings in criminal proceedings. And, for the better development of the research and to guarantee a practical dimension to the study, it will also be used the Methodology of Analysis of Decisions of the TJCE in the last years referring to the matter. After a detailed description of the unfavorable and favorable points, it can be seen, in short, that technology cannot be excluded from the Judiciary, and that, if properly used, telehearings can be a great instrument for the faster delivery of the judicial service.
