Resumo: The dissertation presented aims to conduct the computer simulation of groundwater flow using the Iterative Method of Hydraulic Gradient (MIGH) for the calibration of hydrodynamic parameters of aquifers. In this case, the calibration of the hydraulic conductivity of the aquifer "Cabeças" in the Valley of Gurguéia in the town of Cristino Castro, southwest of the state of Piauí. For the modeling, simulation and calibration the UFC-FLOW extension/UFC-MIGH, was used, which was developed to be loaded into GIS software gvSIG. From the process of simulation model and the setting of hydraulic head observed and measured in the field, it was possible to obtain satisfactory results in the calibration of hydraulic conductivity, well represented by the stability of the convergence criteria observed in the following charts: root mean square error X number of iterations and mean angles X number of iterations. Also observed the adjustment between the observed and calculated hydraulic head well represented in the potentiometric map generated. The results show the potential of the UFC-FLOW software/UFC-MIGH underpinning a GIS for simulation of groundwater flow and modeling of aquifers, as well as the subsequent solution of the hydrodynamic parameters calibration problem based on MIGH.
