Resumo: |
This research aims to comprehend the talents’ management dynamic and how it can represent a competitive asset in the Information Technology – IT sector. It is based on a theoretical articulation, considering the concepts of business strategy; talents’ management and competitive assets; dimensions and praxis of the talents’ management. This exploitive and descriptive research, through case study, was conducted through the application of two models of interviews and a semi-structured questionnaire, made among directors and technical groups from the two biggest companies of the IT sector of the State of Ceará, one of them in the software development segment and the other in the consulting and training segment. The research involved eight top directors of the two companies, six intermediate managers and fifty-seven professionals of the areas selected for the research. The information was treated on quantitative and qualitative basis. The research allowed us to conclude that the companies studied have their own human resources management in initial phase and there aren’t, yet, procedures that allow and maintain the competitiveness and success of these companies, based on talents’ management. However, there are quite favorable intentions towards attraction, development and maintenance of talents through some actions of the direction. It is believed that the investments and professional practices towards talents’ management can assure better competitiveness, as evidenced in this research. The environment is favorable to the talents’ management, a fact proved in some current works being held in the human resources areas of the companies mentioned. |
