This study aims to estimate the impact of taxes and transfers on the Value Added (VA) and total major sectors (agriculture and cattle, industry and services) of Municipalities in Ceará. Was used as a methodology the use of panel data model for the period 2002-2011. According to the results, the industry sector is what most benefits from the increased tax revenue, followed by services and agriculture and cattle sectors. Regarding transfers, the only sector that showed a positive impact was agriculture and cattle, while for the industry it is not significant and for the services presented a negative effect. |
