Resumo: |
This dissertation aims to teach research for low-cost use in basic education. Physics in general is not popular with students. Most of the students have difficulties in understanding theories, specially calculation. As an alternative to the traditional physics scheme, this work uses the methodology of experimental physics, based on a script of low-cost experiments. To corroborate this methodology, we rely on Jean Piaget's theory of constructivism, which defends a more concrete approach (such as the use of experiments to demonstrate physical phenomena), and on Lev Vygotsky's theory of socioconstructivism, which defends that knowledge is given to from social interaction (such as the interaction between students working together in a practice). The use of low-cost experiments is also a solution to the problem of the lack of a teaching laboratory in the school. For this work, were selecter low-cost and fast-assembly experiments which were set up and applied in the school. In addition, it was proved, through a questionnaire, that students were more interested in classes with this approach. |
