Resumo: |
The objective of this work is to evaluate the influence of the supply chain of food products and of a specific urban area in the choice of attributes in the vehicular decision for the urban transportation of cargo. For this, we applied pre-declared research to beverage and food transporters in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza, because they represent 40% of the urban freight movement in the study area. After that, utility functions were generated with attributes related to the vehicle and the trip, using the software Logit Model with Conditional Probability. The purpose was to understand the influence of each attribute in the choice of commercial vehicle in the food sector of the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza. The next step was to compare the decision behavior obtained for this sector and for this urban area with a model for transportation of food products in several urban areas of Brazil and with a model found in the literature of choice of attributes for the decision of the type of vehicle that moves all types of goods in urban areas of Brazil. From these analyzes, it was possible to better understand the phenomenon of choice of attributes for the urban vehicular decision. It was noticed that the specificities of the different urban zones of Brazil are not preponderant in this decision. In addition, there was no evidence to affirm that the food supply chain has preferences that differ widely from those expressed in a general model covering general product carriers in concern to the factors for the choice of the urban commercial vehicle. |
