Relação entre qualidade de vida no trabalho e síndrome de Burnout nos profissionais da sáude de um hospital de ensino em Fortaleza-Ceará

Resumo: The works in healthcare has ethical and social values of extreme magnitude, alleviation of suffering and restore health; professionals to the meaning of work are to promote the strengthening of identity. It is believed that promotes and maintains an adequate quality of life in the work of health professional’s benefit the institution in that, satisfied individuals improve their productivity, reversing hence in improving assistance and the work environment. This study investigates the relationship between quality of work life and burnout in health professionals in a teaching hospital. The emotional exhaustion has attracted attention of many researchers and has a great impact on the health and performance of the worker. Is the lack of resources and emotional exhaustion in physical or psychological that leads to a sense of impotence, is characterized by progressive loss of energy followed by physical and mental exhaustion. Depersonalization includes the development of negative attitudes and distant to people who watch, they are now treated in a cold and impersonal. The absence of professional achievement leads to feelings of failure and reduced self-esteem. This research uses state of the art, benchmarks Maslach and Jackson, Benevides-Pereira, Tamayo, França, Fleck, Seyle, Lipp, among others. The research, based on the goals it is a descriptive study with cross-sectional quantitative approach. The strategy used for data collection was through the use of 3 objective structured questionnaire with demographic and socio-professional approach, the quality of work life through the instrument QWLQ - bref and finally the MBI to assess how professionals health work experience. For data presentation techniques we used descriptive statistics, the results of which were shown through charts and after preceded to statistical analysis using SPSS - version 13. The survey results reveal a context where health professionals from HUWC / UFC are satisfactory level of quality of work life (60,30%), highlighting the personal domain (67,58%) while the professional field reached the lowest rate (50,86%). It can be argued that these are not professional burnout, but showed moderate levels of emotional exhaustion (48,58%), depersonalization (58,19%) and low job satisfaction (53,67%). The data have revealed that a significant correlation exists between the domains of quality of work life and dimensions of burnout. Ensures that maintain and improve the health of these workers is of fundamental importance because it reflects directly on the quality of care offered to patients and in interpersonal relationships.
