Resumo: The design of building projects has been little studied in recent times and little measured, in addition to its primordial importance, it has not been taken as a priority in the development of projects, as it is in the design where the risks of the projects are analyzed, evaluated and mitigated. Knowing the uncertainties in the project design phase and its feasibility is undoubtedly a scenario of obtaining advantages to competitors, because when risks are precisely managed in the project design, there are few uncertainties in the other phases of the projects, thus increasing profits and decreasing execution time. Uncertainties are analyzed in a probabilistic, statistical or numerical way, as they are qualitative data (verbal) it is difficult to accurately transform to a numerical format. As it is a subject that has not been studied much and is not widely applied in the design of projects in Brazil, it will be an important tool to better understand the risks in this project phase. To achieve the objectives of this project, a good study on the feasibility of projects and undertakings as well as on risk management in this phase is necessary, so that risk analysis and management tools are more appropriate for the civil construction scenario. Thus, the objective of this work is to study and analyze the risks and their impacts in the project design phase, proposing an analysis model that can assess the risks to support the risk management and mitigation process. The contribution of this research is to assist managers in the project design phase and provide useful tools for risk analysis at this stage of the enterprise.
