Resumo: This paper presents an empirical research on determinants to overcome the condition of poverty applied the microcredit program of the BNB, the Crediamigo, along to their clients in the informal sector defined as poor in accordance to three (3) lines determinants poverty lines used in Brazil. The success indicator applied to the clients was the escape of the condition of poverty who were in a lower condition by the time of the initial loans and time was the variable used as a control to measure the speed of that success and to enable the tracking of these indicators over time and comparison with results from other programs. The results of the econometric model used in the study show evidences that Crediamigo clients respond positively to the volume of credit over time and have return over assets standards (physical or empowering), which are similar to entrepreneurs from the top of the pyramid. It was also concluded that among the poorest, the human capital, organizational structure and other collateral cause relative differentiated return. This evidence indicates that it is feasible a strategy of multiple structural policies either public or private of poverty combating and not just of amortization of its stock.
