The objective of this work is to infer the behavior of the individuals how much to the decision of retirement, based on socioeconômicas 0 variable. The subject is important, therefore the process of the aging and the reduction of the participation of the work force are excellent subjects in the majority of developed countries, especially to verify the sustentabilidade of the systems of social security and for reduction of the poverty. The Legislation plays basic role in the decision of the individuals, a time that specifies rules of eligibility to the retirement, however, was verified that the alone eligibility does not represent the decision of the individuals. Of this form, other factors are important in the power to decide process. It was investigated, in this work, which are the excellent factors in the process of decision of retirement of the individuals, such as the instruction degree, the revenues in the laborativa phase and the after-labor phase and alterations in the legislation, through the Model with limited dependent 0 variable or simply, Modelo Tobit. Through this exactly model, was verified, also, as these 0 variable intervene with the decision of the individuals.
