Cancer case records are important to provide support to health professionals for the evaluation of the quality of care provided, as well as research within this cancer area and for the planning of health actions. Thus, the objective of this study is to spatially analyze the determinants associated with mammographic screening of breast cancer in women living in the city of Sobral-CE. This is a mixed ecological study with a quantitative approach. This type of study is already frequently used in cancer research. This study was carried out in the city of Sobral, a city located in the Northwest Mesoregion of the State of Ceará, with an area of 2,122.897 km2, a population of 210,711 inhabitants.
