Resumo: |
The author presents a descriptive study about the Identification of therapeutic needs and nursing care provided by sixteen nurses in intensive Care Units of two social insurance hospitais in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is also presented a proposal of a Nursing Care Model for clients with Acute Myocardial Infarction relied on the Minimum Patterns of Nursing for Health Recovery established by the Ministry of Health. The results have comproved that the nurses submitted to the study tend to act rather accordding to their traditional patterns and not applying the therapeutic approach to the patients nursing needs. |
