Resumo: |
This study sought to determine the technical efficiency of public schools in Fortaleza, involving elementary school students from 6th to9th grade, using data from 2007. For this, it uses the methodology of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), whose models are suitable for measuring these types of schools because they allow the analysis to incorporate the interaction between the inputs and outputs, since it seeks results-oriented measure the technical efficiencies and inefficiencies of these schools. The study concluded that the end was found that 31 schools of sample used in 10 are efficient and that all schools can achieve maximum productivity observed regardless of its size. |
