Resumo: |
This qualitative research has as general objective to analyze the discursive functions of the infographic G1 - the Globo News Portal. In the transaction process, the news is produced based on the specific exchange data between the partner subjects and the recognition of the conditions of enunciation submitted to a media information contract. To ensure the credibility of what is reported, the communicating subject uses a pluricode text: the infographic. With its discursive functions, this strategic resource becomes an important investment in the production of journalistic material, provoking the (re) construction of the meanings of the text by the interpreting subject. The infographic of the G1 is a "proof of truth" in the production of the information discourse, taking into account the information objective (the "to know"), the aim of the capture (the "make feel") and the target of the demonstration (the "make believe"). Thus, the informant reports the facts through two linguistic activities: descriptionnarration and explanation. The "produced effects" in the news media interfere in the conditions of interpretation by the recipient subject. In order to base our research, we use the theoretical contribution of Semiolinguistics (CHARAUDEAU, 2015, 2014, 2012, 2010, 2005, 2001, 1996) that deals with a gender problem, based on the assumptions of Bakhtin ([2003] 2011). On the journalistic genre, authors such as van Dijk (1990), Lage (2006), Canavilhas (2007) and Alves Filho (2011) were used. As for the infographic, the research turned to authors of journalism, such as Teixeira (2010), and those of Linguistics, such as Paiva (2013, 2009 and 2016). The research corpus is composed of 10 (ten) webnews of the G1 with infographics, collected from August 2016 to January 2017. During the analysis of the data, we used, for the genre, the explanation based on a problematic of the genre, which considers the situational aspect and the communication contract; with regard to the discursive functions of the infographic, the components of the descriptive organization (the "Naming", "Locating" and "Qualifying") were essential and the categories of situational dimension, image technique and discourse for the analysis of image indicated by Mendes (2010). The results show that the infographic is a pluricode text and a constituent feature of the webnews of the G1, performing several discursive functions, such as adding, validating and confirming the information, as well as the visual representation to (re) construct sense effects text. |
