Resumo: |
The mass movement is a natural factor that can constitute a risk scenario, as society organizes itself, occupies the space and, with this, it generates instability in the slopes. In this way, the situation of vulnerability and susceptibility, put in the different realities, are expression of the social and economic conditions and of the natural characteristics constituent of this form of socio-spatial organization. They are, therefore, variable elements that influence in the greater or lesser condition of the risks to the mass movement. The present work proposes to analyze the social and economic data and the physical-natural characteristics, with a view to their interaction, in order to determine the socio-environmental risks, as a consequence of the use and occupation of space that accelerate the movement of pasta. Part of the hydrographic basin as a unit of diagnosis, analysis and planning, realizing the importance of characterizing existing environmental systems, and their interaction with social and economic elements, in a mosaic of interdisciplinarities that form the environment. The determination of socio-environmental risks occurred after the application of social data and classification of natural elements to vulnerability and susceptibility. From the social order, the main variables were data on education, income and housing quality, for the construction of the Social Vulnerability Index - IVS and, consequently, spatialization of the Vulnerability Map. From the physicalnatural order, we considered the classes of slope, soil and vegetation for the construction of the Map of Susceptibility to Mass Movements - MSM2. From the socioenvironmental order, he overlapped the vulnerability and susceptibility maps (slope, soil and vegetation) to construct the (synthetic) Map of Socioenvironmental Risks. It was thus possible to carry out analyzes of the geographical situations and conditions of exposure to risks by the population and the environment. |
