Resumo: |
The object of study of this dissertation is the fuel trade in the city Fortaleza, with an emphasis on C gasoline, ethanol and diesel. The work consists in the study of the fuel market since the 70's to the present day, analyzing the economic impacts of this sector in the economy. Despite the large number of gas stations, this economic niche presents significant price differences between them, within the same geographical area. For empirical analysis we use panel data methodology. From the results we analysis the determining factor in pricing in Gas stations, be it the location, the flag or the volume of sales. |
