Resumo: |
The extreme north of Brazil has been a gateway for venezuelan women in search of better living conditions due to the economic, political and social crisis that afflicts the country of origin, and the state of Roraima has been impacted by a new reality from this migration. It is notorious that this phenomenon involves social, economic, cultural, linguistic and also affective aspects, understood here as: feelings and emoticons, that is, Affectivity, as a category of observation and analysis; and more specifically, the Esteem of Place, as a way of evaluating the affections of the women studied with their places of origin and their new home. The present study, therefore, aims to understand the Affectivity and the Esteem of Place of venezuelan women in Boa Vista (RR) from the construction of their affective maps, the measurement of the Esteem of Place, and the understanding of the vulnerabilities and strategies of confrontation. For this, based on Social and Environmental Psychology of socio-historical basis, this research used the Instrument Generator of Affective Maps (IGMA) and the semi-structured interview for data collection. The participants were 16 (sixteen) Venezuelans, aged between 18 and 52 years, as residents or refugees in Brazil, distributed among brown (06), black (05), indigenous (03) and white (02), living own, rented or urban occupation. Subsequently, the information was treated, transcribed and analyzed from the perspective of Content Analysis. The results showed a predominance of Empowering Esteem of Place, with a prevalence of Affective Image of Belonging and Pleasantness, as Roraima is seen by them as a place of memories, new beginnings and learnings. Already in the interviews, it was possible to understand the field of vulnerabilities and coping strategies, with regard to homelessness, prejudice, language difficulties, unemployment, family losses, among others. Finally, with the results of this research, it is expected that they will be indicators for other groups of migrants and refugees in the Brazilian territory, in addition to promoting a greater depth on the theme presented, providing support for the strengthening of actions to confront and implement public policies that assist this migrant population in a situation of social vulnerabilities and ethical-political suffering. |
