It should be noted that the defining characteristics with the best accuracy were: Fear of pain related to dying, Fear of dying, Impotence, Fear of a prolonged death process and Concern about the impact of death itself on a significant person. Still, 85.52% of the people living with HIV / AIDS analyzed showed the diagnosis under study. While deep sadness and concern about the caregiver's tension had greater specificity.
