Resumo: |
The solidarity economy is a social construction, as an organization and as a movement, having your economic side rooted in the social aspect, and therefore is an enabling environment to the generation of social capital. The formation of networks in the solidarity economy, in turn, reflects a strategy of strengthening for the social enterprises and encourages the reproduction of social capital. The generation of social capital in solidarity economy occurs under standards that focus on self-management, cooperation and autonomy, principles of complexity that are inserted in the context of the movement and bases the operating dynamics of these enterprises. In this sense, the objective of the study was to investigate, using a quantitative approach, if the principles of complexity contributes more to the development of the social capital in solidarity economy when the enterprises are organized in networks. For such, the national database from the survey performed by the National Secretary of Solidarity Economy during the period 2010 to 2013 was analysed, comprising a sample with 11,138 solidarity economy enterprises. The data allowed the creation of representative indices of the principles of complexity and social capital. The data was treated through the Pearson's correlation statistics, the t-test and the multiple linear regression utilizing the statistical tool SPSS (Statistic Package for Social Sciences). The results corroborated with the referred literature, regarding the principle of self-management as a social capital generator under the influence of networks, however, this does not occur in relation to the principles of cooperation and autonomy, showing that only the principle of self-managment undergoes positive and significant influence under the influence of networks, although without the influence of networking, cooperation is the principle that most contributes to the generation of social capital. |
