Resumo: The present work is characterized by an exploratory and descriptive study of a qualitative nature of cross-sectional design. The research period was held in 2017 with the participation of high school students from a private school in the city of Fortaleza. The objective of this study was to promote the teaching of learning from concepts about spherical geometry in a dynamic and contextual way, approaching the calculation of the distance between two points on its surface, given its geographical coordinates latitude and longitude on a Geogebra software modeling. We used as theoretical foundation several authors among them STWART 2012, HELLMEISTER 2004, BORBA 2010. It was concluded that the use of Geogebra software in the teaching of spherical geometry in particular in calculating the distance between two points in the Terrestrial Globe was satisfactory. We hope that this study has contributed in the teaching and learning process of mathematics and specifically of Spherical Geometry in a current and contextualized way.
