Resumo: |
The Unified Health System (SUS) has become the guiding principle of Health in Brazil since the 1988 Constitution, which created a challenge for the training of its professionals and brought the need to qualify them to meet satisfactorily the population. Thus, the National Policy of Permanent Education in Health (PNEPS) was established as an NHS strategy to provide training and development of workers in the health sector. In this sense, there is the importance of knowing the concepts and guidelines that policy. This research aimed to analyze the knowledge and the perception of the professionals of the Family Health Strategy (ESF) on PNEPS. This is a descriptive, observational, cross-sectional and qualitative-quantitative study. The target population of this research was composed of doctors, nurses and dentists of the Fortaleza-Ce ESF. Data collection was conducted from August 2014 to August 2015, through semi-structured questionnaire, where the figures were tabulated in Microsoft Excel and exported to the Statistical Packcage software for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Categorical data were expressed as absolute and relative frequency and analyzed using the Chi-square or Fisher test. Numerical data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation and analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test (nonparametric data, Kruskal-Wallis the test), p<0,05. Qualitative data were analyzed using the Bardin content analysis that make it replicable and valid inferences about data context. As a result, it was found that the PNEPS is known for 19.2% of dentists, 29.5% of physicians and 45.1% of nurses. In addition, the Permanent Health Education (EPS) was evaluated as a regular for 48.8% of dentists, 32.7% of physicians and 52.5% of nurses (p <0,006). As to qualitative data, the categories were: meaningful learning, teamwork, digital information and communication technologies (TDICs), need for permanent education in health. It follows therefore that there is a need to broaden the discussion on PNEPS, providing a better understanding of it and increasing the quality of EPS shares held. Thus, focused learning for the service being performed in multi-way through the use of TDICs will contribute to the training and strengthening of the SUS. |
