Resumo: This work looks at collective music education using the electronic keyboard instrument within the Federal Institute of Ceará-Campus Fortaleza during the year 2018. In this research, I intend to investigate the learning process and map the profile of students who seek the discipline Specific Instrument -Keyboard belonging to the Technical Course in Musical Instrument. Starting from a comparative analysis of my trajectory, through reports of my life history and curricular formation, until I find the object of this research, I seek to illuminate learning through pedagogical practices. The approach will be qualitative (BOGDAN; BIKLEN, 1982), for a better understanding of individual learning, the raising of the musical repertoire and the formation of its capitals brought to the classroom by the students. This procedure will become important to understand the lack of musical education in the school, in the periods before our time. As an account of experiences, I will use my experience as a teacher in kindergarten schools, as well as a project of my own, with a partnership of the Secretaria de Cultura do Estado do Ceará (Secult/CE), called Orquestra de Teclados do Ceará (ORTECE). The musical instrument used will be the electronic keyboard, facilitating the access to the musical field of the students and its importance for the collective teaching for being a low cost instrument and for its portability. For the methodology will be used the intervention research (DAMIANI, 2012), with semistructured interviews, thus seeking to bring epistemological elucidations about the context of music teaching in our time in the city of Fortaleza-CE. His theoretical contribution will use, above all, the concepts of praxiology, fields, habitus and symbolic capital of Pierre Bourdieu.
