Resumo: |
Throughout the history of Mathematics, has always sought to classify the objects that were being studied. From a classical result, which classified the groups of order pn with a maximal cyclic subgroup, V.V. Pylaev together with N.F. Kuzennyi classified the finite groups with a maximal cyclic subgroup. Using this theorem and a lemma for the classification of groups of order pn with at most one non-cyclic maximal subgroup, also classified the finite groups with at most one non-cyclic maximal subgroup. |
