Resumo: The research sought to analyze practices of content production in digital media by the Library System of the Federal University of Amazonas-SISTEBIB-UFAM. It highlights the importance of producing educational content in digital media to promote learning. How can the production of educational digital media by SISTEBIB-UFAM favor training in the field of higher education? The general objective is to discuss, within the scope of SISTEBIB-UFAM, the use of multimedia resources that can favor the learning process of the university community. The study is categorized by exploratory research, with a qualitative approach through a case study. To achieve the objectives, the focus group technique was used and semi-structured interviews were applied with the librarians of SISTEBIB-UFAM. The data analysis was carried out through discourse analysis and the results revealed that the production of content in digital media is carried out with some difficulty and without internal procedures. As the main contributions of this research, we can list studies on new practices aimed at the production of educational content with the use of digital media by university libraries, as well as raise discussions about the importance of the Educational Reference Service (SRE) in virtual learning environments.
