This dissertation presents an analysis on cooperatives recyclable material collectors in Maceió. The objective was to evaluate the development of two cooperatives, COOPREL COOPLUM and perspectives of social, economic and political influences and what about the self-management process. The discussion arises on the basis of national policy on solid waste, in accordance with Law 12,305 of 2010. The story talked about the productive inclusion of scavengers. The requirements provided for the organization of work and cooperative working relations among members. Are also presented, questions relating to the market, the marketing of recyclables. And as the requirements under the Act interfere on the formation and management of cooperatives collectors of recyclable materials.
