This study refers for Spiritism the set of cultural expressions that have a direct philosophical, religious and/or moral bond with the codification of Hippolyte Leon Denizard Rivail (Allan Kardec) in France, in middle of century XIX. In Brazil, the Spiritist culture was implanted still in this exactly century, and since then it comes being influenced for a national culture. The institutionalization of Spiritism were commanded for the Federacy Brazilian Spirits. The Spiritism was developed and arrived at Alagoas, initially in Maceió. The Main objective of this work, was to sketch a cultural identity of the Spiritism in the city of Santana of the Ipanema-AL. For this, carry through bibliographical research. Passing to the following stage, we carry through research of field in a Spiritis institution in that city, where we insert in the group and we collect given of qualitative nature. The final chapter were organized based on categories that center the Spiritism culture: “Study”, “Mediunidade” and “Charity”.
