Resumo: | Sugarcane is a crop that has a high energy potential. As a raw feedstock to produce ethanol and bioelectricity cogeneration research institutions work on the development of energy cane, a variety with high productivity, which can be cultivated in a complementary way to the commercial sugarcane varieties and with the potential to increase the billing of the producer or company with the sale of its products. Based on this premise, this work had as its objective finding profiles of energy cane ideal to be produced in the state of Alagoas. The amount of ethanol and bioelectricity produced per ton of sugarcane and its market values practiced in the month of March 2017 were used to determine the sales. Ethanol production was estimated based on the theoretical ethanol yield per kg of ATR per ton of sugarcane and bioelectricity cogeneration was estimated from the EMSO software, which simulated a cogeneration plant with a boiler with 65 bar, 473 ° C and extraction and condensation turbines. The results of sales with the sale of ethanol and bioelectricity have shown that sugarcane profiles with productivity between 55.5 and 82 Tons per hectare are already presented as a viable alternative for production in Alagoas. These results are compatible with experimental studies described in the literature, which mention that energy cane productivity is 1.5 times greater than the yield of commercial sugarcane cultivars. Thus, a very optimistic scenario is presented suggesting that in the short / medium term energy cane will begin to occupy sugarcane plantations, becoming a new paradigm in the Alagoas and Brazilian sugar-energy sector. |
