O livro didático para o ensino de matemática: análise sobre o conteúdo de matemática financeira nos anos finais do ensino fundamental da Educação de Jovens e Adultos

Resumo: The basic idea that guides all textbooks analysis proposed here is to allow a reflection about the contents approach of financial mathematics in a perspective that, in their majority, the math books cannot submit, because these teaching resources presentes peculiar approaches. Some books have their content with some breadth and depth, even considering the crosscutting themes and many other that enrich classes and are part of issue that is being addressed. However, there are others which are confined only to record contents that are in the course planning and that meet a Mathematics, using basic teaching with exercises, up to a certain point, contextualized with the student reality. Methodologically, was made analysis (assessments) of content contained in the Math textbooks collection EJA (multidisciplinary 4 volumes for students of final years in Jovens e Adultos Education) from a public school in Maceio/Alagoas This procedure has contributed to reflection on the financial content, within a more comprehensive proposal for financial education. In addition, aimed to contribute not only to financial training, but also for education directed to consumption. We evaluated the didactic proposals showed in these books and then build a general diagnostic with the necessary analyzes and propositions about the financial content that are covered classroom for Financial Mathematics teaching/learning. We know that the main teaching resource used in school activity is still the textbook, mainly in Elementary School. We realized that the existing contents in the textbooks shows contentes according National Curricular Guidelines to Elementary School. However, we emphasize the main role of the teacher to work in a broader perspective and interdisciplinary way to learning can become meaningful and contributes to citizenship exercise. Based on books analysis results and studies on financial education, we can say that the teaching within the school walls needs to be attached mainly for citizen formation and the importance to associate the theoretical knowledge into practice, however, apply the financial knowledge associated to consumption education.
