Resumo: It aimed to with this experiment was to evaluate the level of inclusion of guava residue in the diet of cutting quails on the productive performance, carcass yield, and economic viability of the birds. The experiment was conducted in the Cotoniculture Sector of the Academic Unit Center of Agricultural Sciences - UFAL. Twenty-five European, unsexed, one-day-old quails distributed in a completely randomized experimental design with four inclusion levels (0.0, 3.0, 6.0, 9.0 and 12.0%) of residue were used of guava, with five replicates and 10 birds per experimental unit. The birds received rations based on corn and soybean meal, supplemented with vitamins and minerals, isocaloric and isoprotein, with 2900 kcal / kg metabolizable energy and 22% crude protein, formulated according to the recommended nutritional requirements by Rostagno et al. (2011). There was no effect (P> 0.05) of inclusion levels of guava pulp residue on diets on yield and on absolute weight and carcass yield of quails at 42 days of age. It is recommended the inclusion of 3% of the guava pulp residue in the feed of cut quails, without compromising the productive performance, carcass yield and economical viability.
