This term paper aims to present an effective and efficient alternative to the traditional evaluative process massively present in educational institutions today. The structure of the system uses the methodology of competency evaluation along with the nebulous logic to determine the concept for students in a specific evaluation process. The fuzzy rules used in the expert web system were created respecting the three steps of the fuzzy cycle, being the same subdivisions of fuzzy reasoning. This expert system hás been tested in nine real class scenarios from various technical courses. The results produced by the system were statistically compared with the results generated by the teachers' evaluation of the nine classes and it was verified that such a nebulous system generated very linear, standardized and automatic results. Moreover, as this work generated a prospective study of educational technologies, a software that contains the proposed algorithm and the application for registration of the respective software and its brand.
