Resumo: | This dissertation analyzes a group of young people, their spaces and peripheral cultures, relating youth, periphery, education and cultures to the schooling process in the contemporary world, especially in the final stage of basic education. The research was carried out with youngsters from the hip-hop culture in the south zone of Maceió, more specifically with the group break dance Maloqueragem Zona Sul – MZS, which were accompanied in your nomadism and gregariousness by the city, for example in the social networks, neighborhoods and school. The objective was to identify the configurations, possibilities and/or obstacles of the dialogical relationship between the knowledge of the peripheral cultures and the spaces of formal education, specifically of the high school. In this context, the following problem is elaborated: To what extent did the school practices of the night-time middle school have a dialogue with the peripheral cultural experiences and manifestations of the young students? The methodology was based on the virtual, urban and School, linked to network knowledge and data collection techniques, such as questionnaires and reflective interviews. Such methodological procedures were articulated to socio-historical aspects and to Cultural Studies with regard to representations and juvenile identities. It is concluded from the research that in this relationship between the school practices and the peripheral cultures of the young students, there is a superficial and strategic dialogue, in which the middle school of the night tries to adapt to the routine of the young workers, in order to reduce evasion and improve the evaluation results, while neglecting the experiences, protests and knowledge carried by these same young people, leaving school Based on the sociocultural reality of its clientele. |
