Resumo: | The following study intends to contribute with the elaboration of the health and safety at work policy being designed by the Brazilian Federal Government to its public servants. The multiprofessional and interdisciplinary approaches and practices have been recognized as the best methods to obtain full attention to the health matter and as core concepts to consolidate public policies in this area. As so, the main established objective of this study is to discuss the performance of a multiprofessional team that works with health of servants from three federal institutions - Universidade Federal do Paraná, Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná and Instituto Federal do Paraná. In order to reach the intended goal, a qualitative research was conducted focusing on team work through the servants perceptions of their own performances. Semi-structured interviews were used for data gathering, encompassing seven professionals of the multiprofessional team, five users attended by this team, two union representatives and a human resources manager of one of the subject institutions. The evaluation of empirical material was performed via content referential analysis based on thematic aspects. As a theoretical reference, the contributions from Schwartz?s ergological perspective were used, articulating them with the concepts of Collective and Worker Health and reflections on principles, objectives and directives of public policies related to health and safety of workers and Brazilian public servants. After analyzing the gathered data, it was possible to verify that the proposal of the health and at work labor policy to public servants did not respect the principles of collective and horizontal construction, including management of shared responsibility as defined by current legislation. Despite this fact, the interviewed professionals showed themselves as protagonists and fully committed to servants' health, working in interdisciplinary way, obtaining positive recognition from service users despite the inadequate working conditions that are provided to them. |
