Resumo: | This work treats of the Geometry teaching and the possible contributions of Dynamic Geometry softwares, mainly Cinderella software. The aim of this work is to analyze if the use of the Dynamic Geometry Cinderella software aids in the construction of the knowledge in Geometry. This discussion is important because the computer introduces a dynamic dimension to the investigation of the Geometry. The representations of plane or space geometric illustrations can be now manipulated and transformed of different ways. A course of plane Geometry was carried out, using the software Cinderella, with students of the 2nd period of the Pedagogy graduation. This course was applied to analyze the students' difficulties to understand Geometry concepts and the possibility of overcoming of those ones by the use of the software. The analysis of the students' discussions and behavior showed initially low knowledge of Geometry. And was observed that the use of the Dynamic Geometry softwares can contribute to learning and to increase their abilities to visualize and understand geometric objects. |
