Resumo: | This study aimed to reflect the genesis and dynamics of tables for billiards factories in South-Central Brazil. To this end, we sought to: a) characterize the genesis of this productive activity in the context of small commodity production; b) identify the differences between the plants for billiard tables that hold the lease and those who sell the table and accessories; c) discuss how the context of the restructuring of production coexist artisanal productions; d) identify on the productive organization and strategies of factories geared the lease and sale of tables for billiards; e) mark the forms of innovations used by the plants for billiard tables in the South Central area of the Brazil. The understanding of this process was carried out from an analytical course that included the category of socio-spatial formation, petty commodity production, schumpeterian and neoschumpeterians concepts, as well as rangelian's analyzes about the cyclical dynamics of capitalism correlated to data obtained during the field surveys. Amid the development of productive activity in the spatial area studied was found, among others, that the low organic composition of capital, which is characteristic of him, allowed his creation and expansion amid the recessionary phase of the economy in the 1980s and 1990s. Hailing from the small commodity production and capital scarce, entrepreneurs in this industry relied mainly close contact to create the first plants and get the hand labor and equipment, all at low cost. Manufacturers entrepreneurs for billiard tables are used constantly innovation (creative imitation) directed to the product, machinery and equipment, reduction of production costs and the creation of new consumer markets as a way to stay in the national market. |
