As pressões advindas da reconfiguração produtiva dos cursos stricto-sensu e seu impacto sobre a saúde de docentes em universidades públicas

Resumo: The modifications in the forms of production throughout the development of the capitalism influenced the universities to reconsider its academic production. In this context, the stricto-sensu courses of the universities configured from the rules proposed by the organisms that are connected on to Brazilian academic production. Concepts have been created to demonstrate the performance level between the programs of master and doctorate of the universities and, inside this scene, the professors are responsible for the necessary intellectual production to the fulfillment of the purpose of superior education, which in its turn are constantly being evaluated. Before this chart 286 professors of stricto-sensu courses from UEL and UEM universities have been researched to be aware of the situation of the physical and mental health of those workers in the current circumstance of the universities and, therefore in the stricto-sensu courses. The statistical tests ANOVA and Spearman enabled an analysis of 22 constituent elements of the categories Physical and Mental Health, Satisfaction, Work and Beliefs in comparison with the areas of performance and the concept of the courses. The results pointed out that the professors are unsatisfied in relation to their physical and mental health between areas and, a bigger satisfaction between the pertaining professors to the programs with bigger concept before the CAPES. Such results made an analysis possible, based on the critical theory of the organizational studies, on the situations in which the physical and mental health of the worker is related to the way of management organizations' work.
