Resumo: | ABSTRACT Transporting neonates in urgent/emergency situations requires differentiated care that needs to be provided by pre-hospital care team. Thus, in order to contribute to the qualification of care in neonatal transport, a record of medical and Nursing care was created specifically aimed at the protection and safety of the neonate during interhospital transfer. The general objective of the study was to build and validate a specific instrument for neonatal transport performed by the advanced life support of the Mobile Emergency Care Service. Specifically, the study sought to: identify the topics to be considered for the registration of specific care for neonatal transport; to build the attendance record, considering the information necessary for the evaluation, diagnosis, interventions and specific equipment for the neonate public during inter-hospital transfer; validate the care record for neonatal transport with subject matter experts. To direct the content for the elaboration of the attendance record, we used: an integrative review on the topic, in order to elucidate the necessary care during neonatal transport; neonatal transport guidelines manual from the Ministry of Health; and the guidelines of the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics – transport of high-risk newborns. The record was evaluated by twenty selected judges. To estimate the degree of agreement, the Content Validity Index was used and an acceptable rate of agreement was considered to be 80%. The instrument proved to be appropriate, obtaining an average value of 97.5%. Some adjustments were made to the presentation and content, as suggested by the experts. In this way, it is expected that the construction of this instrument can contribute to the improvement of the care provided to the newborn during hospital transport and, above all, it aims to contribute to the improvement of the quality of the working conditions of health professionals providing subsidies for safer, more comfortable and quality neonatal transfers |
