This study aims to investigate the reinterpretation of medieval poetry of the Iberian Peninsula and Northeast in the songbook elomariano, reflecting on their integration into the contemporary cultural context. Through the analysis procedures of comparative literature, will make a comparison between the poetic text and musical poetry of Elomar and Galician-Portuguese troubadour, to reflect on the upgrade of themes, stylistic forms and medieval imagery in the songs of this composer. For this analysis, we will build on the concepts of intertextuality and re-reading, inspired interface loved music and literature. We found that the medieval literature serves as a thematic and stylistic matrix that provides the composition of new texts and in Cancioneiro elomariano resumed, refreshed and renewed from the everyday and the imaginary swing. We also consider that the line of the medieval work of Elomar is established through dialogue with the poetry of the Northeast, the resumption of shapes and themes that have been preserved and transmitted by oral and folk memory. Innovations and contributions of new text on the text reproduced from tradition to allow insertion of Elomar in the contemporary cultural context, for his work proposes a dialogue between tradition and modernity, speaking and writing, popular culture and academic without establish polarization between those rules and consequently updates the symbols of culture. |
