The evaluation of the patent portfolio is of great strategic importance because, in addition to helping to identify the economic viability of applications already filed, it contributes to reducing the cost of maintaining the patent bank. This is especially favorable for institutions that have an extensive portfolio of technologies, such as the Universidade Federal do Paraná - UFPR, and whose number of order deposits tends to increase. The objective of this study is to present a technology portfolio evaluation model for the Agência de Inovação UFPR. In order to format the suggested model, a search was made for methodologies already employed in reputable institutions and, after analyzing the demands and difficulties found in the environment, the focus of the study was to format an evaluation model with criteria that fit the Institution's demand for decreasing technologies. portfolio, in order to reduce maintenance costs and enable the team to engage in more strategic activities.
