Resumo: The present study aimed to describe which factors of quality of life at work are associated with possible disturbances in sleep quality in military police officers of the state of Paraná. To this end, 119 police officers from the 8th Independent Military Police Company were interviewed, with an average age of 34 years and average incorporation of 11 years. The instruments used were the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) for the elaboration of the goal variable (has or does not have sleep disorders) and the shortened version of the Quality of Work Questionnaire (QWQL-bref) for the independent variables. By classifying the variables through the data mining system (KDD), the decision tree and logistic regression methods, it was possible to notice that the sleep disturbances of military police are mainly related to the organizational issues inherent to the profession and what measures should be taken to mitigate their stress levels, as the profession requires high concentration, the deficit in rest can generate physical, psychological and social problems in them, exposing them to risks during their work practice. It is concluded that the profession of military police by itself is quite stressful and corroborates the presence of sleep disorders, however identifying that organizational issues are related to the decline in quality of life at work and concomitantly in sleep quality may be the same. the starting point for this problem to be dealt with effectively.
