Resumo: The research had as central goal the analysis of the influences, the interests, and the determinations of the public and private agents in the elaboration process of the Curricular Common National Base (BNCC). The text presents research results, in which the educational politics is understood as a process and product of the correlation of forces produced within the State. The disputes of corporate projects performed by these agents place challenges for the elaboration of national curricular orientations. With this, it presents the utilized mechanisms by the foundations and the private institutes in the leading of the contemporary educational policies, in this case, the Curricular Common National Base. It was aimed this way, to identify the acting forms of the main public and private agents in the elaboration process of the Curricular Common National Base. It presents initially reflections on the Brazilian social formation and the State’s role, as the one in charge of the educational policies, thus demonstrating the redefinitions of its role even when facing the implications and contradictions of the relations between the public and private. Therefore, it identifies the main acting public and private agents in the elaboration process of the Curricular Common National Base (BNCC), which, above all, compose the reorganization of the Brazilian educational agenda against the hegemonic interests. The bibliographic and documental survey had as base preliminary documents of the National Base elaboration, as well as the research in websites such as: “Movimento pela Base Nacional Comum”, “Movimento Todos pela Educação” and of the main public and private agents who compose these movements. In this research, were also presented favorable and contrary positions to the final document of the BNCC. Thereby, we can perceive that the Curricular Common National Base is turned to the vision of education as a service not exclusive to the State. The main characters in the elaboration process were: Itaú, Unibanco, Natura, Fundação Roberto Marinho, Fundação Lemann, Instituto Aryton Senna, Instituto Insper, Instituto Rodrigo Mendes, Instituto Singularidades, Instituto Inspirare, CENPEC, CONSED, UNDIME and the program “Todos pela Educação”.
