This work addresses the evasion of the knowledge of the police that migrate to inactivity in the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF). One outstanding difficulty of the organization studied is the retention and transfer of the knowledge of the professionals in the process of retiring, with the potential to enrich the organizational memory and the professional capacity of new generations. The purpose of this study is to verify the Knowledge Management produced collectively with the experiences of the military police over the years that import the Corporation through a case study of knowledge in evasion in the PMDF. It is an applied, descriptive and mixed research that was divided into four stages: (1) Quantitative survey of the evasion of the police who migrated to inactivity from January 2016 to December 2017 where there was a huge evasion of the police force without replacement of this effective and without transfer of relevant knowledge; (2) Verification of the knowledge that is sensitive and relevant to the corporation, highlighting the knowledge that is directly related to the PMDF's final activity; (3) Verification of the degree of maturity in Knowledge Management in personnel, strategy and education sectors in PMDF has generally shown that the Corporation recognizes the need to manage its knowledge; and (4) Questionnaire to inactive police officers who point out that these police officers recognize this new phase of life and believe they have relevant knowledge that can be shared. This work helps to understand alarming results regarding the increase in violence in society and the need for a new model of public security, it is possible to verify the degree of maturity in Knowledge Management in sectors of personnel, education and strategy of the Corporation studied and how the Collectively created Knowledge Management can contribute to the construction of a more citizen Police. |
