Resumo em Inglês: Thegeneral aim of this study is to present the art as a vehicle of expressiveness (or expression) and auto-reflexivity. Specifically, the goal is to understandfrom a phenomenological perspective, how it can help students, with learning difficulties, have a wider look at their creative capacity and provide conditions for the development of their human skills. In the same manner, the intent of this research is to highlight art as an expression of feeling, through the senses, according to the philosophy of art from Susanne Langer, and openness to the world of life, in the Phenomenology of perception from Merleau-Ponty. It is a theoretical work, which is based on the phenomenological approach, which tries to focus on the lived experience and put the a priori between "parentheses", as a way to access the immediate experience. This attitude permeates the entire theoretical investigation, seeking an opening for the unveiling of subjectivity shown through sharing clinical experiences to reinforce the concepts covered. The findings of the theoretical study were illustrated with two examples of students who, through the artistic experience in the school and/or clinical context, had significant contributions in relation to their learning difficulties. Art, for being significant in all its forms, has the potential to enable students with learning difficulties, access to own subjectivity. As a vehicle of expressivity, it promotes access to life experience, which can also promote auto reflexivity, freeing the mind and the cognitive functions in the learning process. In this proposal, the results of this study pointedout the need for more empirical investigation forfurther and deeper analyses.
