Resumo em Inglês: The history has also shown and demonstrates that migratory flow occurs for a variety of reasons, such as sociocultural, economic and political issues. The problem of the present work is to show that the growing search for work is one of the major causes of displacement of the Haitians to Brazil, a fact that occurred after the earthquake of January 12, 2010. This dissertation examines some points related to the concepts of migration, immigration, emigration, foreigners, refugees and recent trends in Haitian immigration and the Brazilian labor market. Nevertheless, interviews will be analyzed on the theme and approach of the main national and international standards, taking into account the Human Rights of migrants, the Consolidation of Labor Laws, the Conventions of the International Labor Organization, the new Migration Law and the vulnerability of Haitian workers.
