Resumo: Commonly, studies on domestic and family violence against women focus on the trajectory of what call “women’s history” and its narratives about important characters. It is almost unison to adopt an epic look of great women, who encouraged so many others, from the feminist movements. Weaving a critique of the universalizing concept of the category “woman”, the present study highlights codependent women. Linked to perpetrators of violence – whom the law treats as aggressors, through a pathologizing double-binding bias, they establish, through a reiterated pattern of behavior, abusive relationships that directly impact the statistics of violence. Adopting the concept of the Cycle of Domestic Violence formulated by Lenore Walker, codependents give up actions when they can. And when she doesn’t, she takes the risk – she even receives the strictest penalties that the aggressors themselves. This dynamic escape, as a rule, the disclosed data. Otherwise, we would reorganize a way of accounting of the ratios. Based on the concept of violence by Heleieth Saffioti, we intend to approximate the concepts of codependence, formulated by Melody Beattie, and symbolic violence, in Bourdieu. It is, therefore, exploratory research guided by Ginzburg’s evidential method. As result, we will present a course to combat domestic and family violence, whose title is: “COURSE ESPERANÇAR: BREAKING THE MOORINGS OF THE CYCLE OF DOMESTIC AND FAMILY VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN – codependent victims and perpetrators of violence: signs in transformation”. As pedagogical support materials – in digital format, we created an e-book, 5 lessons for a lesson plan and a playlist. We provide interested parties with a library with more than 500 titles. In order to ensure the participation off all, as widely as possible. This course for the implementation of urgent protective measures, provided in Law No. 13.894/2020, by the Psychosocial Sectors of specialized judicial units (to victims, as a spontaneous demand, and to perpetrators of violence, by virtue of a judicial decision).
