Resumo: This Master's research, entitled "Audiovisual Streaming and Football: Paths and Perspectives in Brazil", is located in the field of Communication and covers Creative Industries in the audiovisual sector. It seeks to understand the transformations in the form of production and distribution of specialized content in sports and in real time on streaming platforms. In this sense, it is studied, among other aspects, the language, format, technological improvement and the use of streaming tools by football clubs. The results presented were guided by the following research problem: How has the phenomenon of streaming impacted the football broadcasting industry in Brazil? To answer this question, an exploratory investigation was carried out, where concepts such as digital media and technologies, media convergence, multimedia communication, sports-related communication, sports broadcasts and digital culture are considered, based on two cases with games broadcast by YouTube: the Athletiba 2017 and the Campeonato Carioca and Taça Rio 2020. From the study, it was possible to observe a trend in the change in the logic of distribution and consumption of sports content in the country.
